Hello from UK,

 

My son now has his 2nd A2 which is a project car.

 

As we all know the A2 headlights become faded and not clear anymore with age and will fail our MOT (TuV)

 

In the UK we can't get RHD headlights anymore as they only make LHD headlights. I was wondering if anyone has replaced just the outer lens?

 

I have contacted Valeo but they don't offer just the lens.

 

Has anyone done this or found a supplier of the clear lens, as they would work on RHD and LHD headlights?

 

Also where can I get the repair parts for the Opensky roof please?

The situation here in germany is not really clear if it's illegal, but technically you can remove the top coat of the headlight and repaint it with 2k paint.
 

There are sets for this:

And I made this 2 times and it is ok.


Here are hints from the supplier and you see what a new coat looks like:
