  1. Today no problem with the car. All gears OK. The only reason that I no can think of is that when the problem occured it was the first night with minus degrees. I think I have seen that some other A2 member had a problem with the gearbox when it was minus degrees. Water in the "gangsteller" ? Any one have that have had this problem ? MFG Kurt Myhr
  2. This morning when I left home the car didn’t change gear to 3th or 4th gear .5 gear I don’t know ! Reverse gear OK . First and second gear OK. Checked SSP 221 so a reason could be that engagement of valve 2 for the gate selector didn’t work. (see SSP221). Reason for that could be cable harness problem, connector problem,,,, Today it was also the first day with minus temperature. Any one that have had this problem or have a good idea where to searche for the problem. Answer in german if easier. MFG Myhr
  3. Hi First sorry for writing in English) I have had the same problem. Reason was that the armature (moving part) hit the iron core ( the part that winding is wind around) before both contact on the hazard warning light relay closed ( relay with 2 contact in blink relay unit). I bent the fixed contact upward to fix it. BR Kurt
  4. After doing Basic setting (with gear lever in correct postion !!) the car started . I think "the system" didn't like that I started the car with putting 12v to terminal 50.
  5. Thanks " Der Weise" . What a misstake from me !! I was irretated as I couldn't find why the car didn't work. Will make the "basic setting " and see what happens, I am not that hopeful.
  6. Audi A2 1,2tdi 2002 starter doesn’t turn. Help Problem description. Suddenly the starter didn’t turn. My first thought was failure in the starter. I disconnected terminal 50 on the starter and put 12v on. The starter didn’t engage. Failure was no connection between the pull in winding and starter (bad torque nut on solenoid). Now when fixed and connecting 12 v to terminal 50 on the starter (normal cable disconnected) the car starts. But not through turning the ignition key. So one or more criteria for start are not fulfilled and no failure codes are set. When moving the gear shift lever from P to R the gear is not changed on the gearbox, nothing moves. Tried to do a basic setting, when doing “Gear Actuation Adaption”, block 14 field 1 says “Ing off!” where is should change from WAIT to ADJUST. What could be the failure? Ingition key terminal 15 failure ? Something with power supply to the gearbox ECU? ??? HELP ! Where is the starter relay located? Answer in German if easier. MFG Kurt Myhr
  7. Problem solved. Thanks for all good advice!! Problem was the pressure accumulator. I have never changed the unit as I mentioned earlier. The car has now made approx. 280Kkm and I bought it when it made aprox. 11Kkm MFG Kurt Myhr

  9. The engine stop very seldom because of the start/stop function even in eco mode as in Sweden you always have the light on (day running light) and others loads. (One condition for engine stop at start/stop is load factor alternator below 55 %). So engine runs, when hitting the accelerator the engine don’t react it continues idling and car doesn’t move. Haven’t tested number of times I can change gear before the hydraulic pump start lately and never changed pressure accumulator. Will do change pressure accumulator and see what that brings.
  10. Artur Normally in a traffic jam I just hit the footbrake and leave the gear lever in D position. Then I know it happens that the car will not move after a long time in that situation. (long time some minutes).My son says it has happen even when he put the gear I N position, but that I haven’t experienced.
  11. Hi my german is not so good so I have written in English and than Google translated. Can see a lot of errors in the tarnslation but hopefully possible to understand ! First English variant When in a traffic jam so the car will idle for a long time, after that the car doesn’t move. I have to disconnect the battery and after that the car works again. If I stop the engine in this state the car doesn’t start before I have disconnected the battery. I haven’t been able to read out any failure code as this happens in traffic and after disconnection of the battery the code will be erased. The car works normally if I am not coming in this “long idling”. The only thing that is not normal is that the car starts, before I believe the hydraulic pressure has built up. This means that engine runs but no gears will engage directly. If I wait to start the engine until the hydraulic pumps stop that gears will engage directly. I have made basic setting recently and checked hydraulic oil level. Any idea what is the reason? Can it be something with hydraulic pressure measurement?   13. Hi Yes pump is runnning and building up pressure. I haven’t measured the actual pressure. But according to pressures sender OK both voltage at stop (high pressure) and start (low pressure). I have also checked by not putting in the locking pin (sicherungfeder) 085142419 and the blue hydraulic line is leaving the “Gangsteller” and jet of oil is jetting out. When I took the hydraulic lines out I didn’t make a photo but wrote on a paper that the blue line should be at the top of the “gangsteller” . BUT now I am not 100% sure. So anyone knowing if the pressure line should be at the top or bottom on the “gangsteller” ?
