Can anyone explain why a softer spring (from a Golf 1 Cabrio) is recommended to use in front of a A2 1.2 TDI? I would assume that the hardness of the original spring was ok.
Bilstein B6 is in several places recommended to use in A2.
Will there be anything wrong in using a B6 that fits to Lupo 1.4 TDI (35-046196) and use it in A2 1.2 TDI?
What spring should in that case be used, if the same hardness as the original spring is wanted?
The price of the original front shock absorber 6E0 413 031F is in Denmark 2260 DKK= 300 Euro.
