How did it go without the flaps? Did fuel consumption go up?
I've been having a very similar problem for a while now. In my case, I've noticed that when the flaps rise due to the force, they collide with and get stuck against the horizontal plates in the intake port of the engine block.
I think that over time and with use, the flaps start to bend and no longer sit flush against the horizontal plates. I want to remove the flaps and straighten them so that they sit flush against the engine block plate but don't get stuck.
That's why I'd like to know if you have a manual or if you can tell me how to remove the flaps from the shaft?
Thanks
