Hi Nagah, Thank you for the helpful reply. My post count on A2OC.net is over 12,000 but I am a newbie on here and I am struggling to navigate because I unfortunately don't speak German. I will try to post this info on the marketplace (the postage seems to be in the region of £10, which is not bad. Is it possible to ask for the above thread to be moved to the marketplace or should I copy this one into a new post on there (when I find the marketplace section that is! Firstly, sorry that I can only speak English. My German language skills comprise of around 10 words. I am a huge fan of the A2 and I am well known (and hopefully we’ll respected) on the A2 Owners Club A2OC.org. So hopefully you will understand my motives. They are NOT driven by profit. I have been trying to reproduce the full Votex kits (legally) and it will take time. So far I have managed to get some rear spoilers produced and I am now about to produce a new and better quality source for these. I will update you later with that progress. However, I am now able to provide the Jacking point covers, for those that either need a full set, or perhais one or two? I paid £500 to have the genuine covers 3D scanned professionally. I have spent a lot of time ensuring that the covers are as good a quality as possible. (With 3D printing the large smooth surfaces, such as the face of these covers. Need smoothing slightly) but these are as good a fit as the originals snd a perfect copy. Because ofvthe cost for the scans and because it takes 6 hours to print each cover, I need to ask £20 per cover or £75 for a set of 4 covers. Plus postage (at cost) if this helps then please let me know. I am only doing this to help, this is not for profit. Thanks Steve Birchall

Hi, Firstly, sorry for posting this in English my German language skills are only sufficient to say Gutten Tag. I posted some time ago about my attempts to reproduce the Votex rear spoiler. It took a while to put things into place and now I am almost ready to start producing these. They will be very similar to the original Votex spoiler but without the indented "stamp" under the bottom lip. (I have mine filled in anyway) The initial costings come out at around £150 each to produce. I wil be offering these to members at cost (i.e. £150 plus postage), especially if they are popular enough to achieve a total of 20 orders as a minimum (across both clubs). I have posted details of this on the A2OC forum in the UK (I am a moderator on that site). I have made several attemos to ask permission from Votex / VW Audi and other sources. To ensure that there will be no copyright infringement. Also the fact that these are no loger available for sale anywhere and they will not be sold as "Votex" parts, should help remove any fears of copyright infringement. I am taking personal responsibility for this aspect should there be and suh problems. I would like to ask the moderators on this forum if it wouild be OK to place a post asking for members to indicate if they would be interested in this offer, with no commitment to buy at this stage, just so that I can guage the numbers that we think would be ordered. Hi Bret, Firstly, sorry to the non-English speakers, but I cannot speak German. I am the one investigating the feasibility of this. Your point about Copyright is a vitally important one to me, while investigating the cost and feasibility of doing this I am just looking at the cost implications. If the costing works out well I will be investigating the legal position to ensure that I am not breaking any copyright laws. The spoiler is out of production and no longer available and so this may make the copyright issue less of a problem, but copyright lasts beyond the production life of an item. So I will be checking all of this and I will definitely only be doing this if it is legal and fair. Best wishes Steve B (A2OC UK Member)
