This forum always amazes me. In France the A2 is a rather rare car, you hardly can discuss with other owners. But here I get answers to my silly questions within minutes. I really wish my German would not be so bad. Again, thanks!

Actually, the "seller" used to drive an A2. So at least he was able to fit the wheels on his car. But I was unsure about the tires size not being a problem. I guess I will burn more SP98 but that's it, then. Thanks for all the details.

Yes, they are the ones with many round holes. I can get these (wheels + used tires - 1winter) for € 250 which seems to be a fair price. Thanks for your valuable feedback!

Dear fellow A2-addicts (again writing in English, Deutsch kann ich nicht mehr, endschuldigung) I am currently looking for 4 wheels (+ winter tires if possible) for my A2. A guy is proposing a fair deal but for A3 wheels (15") equipped with 185/55/15 Michelin Winter tires. Do you think this would be ok on an A2 ?

Hallo (Deutsch kann ich nicht mehr, und ich wird auf English schrieben, ob das ok fur ihnen ist) I am just wondering what is supposed to take place under the luggage compartment cover in the trunk? To be more precise : under the trunk ceiling, on the left, there's the battery, various tools to repair a flat tire and on the right, this strange compartment, about the size of an in-car radio + a plug. What is it supposed to host? Thanks in advance for your help/hints.

Well, it looks like your tip really made my day. I applied (a lot of) a similar rubber care spray a week ago. I'll double check it under a reaaaly hot sun but the last few days, I had no problem at all with my open sky. Many many thanks.

(again I apologize for writing in English - I read german but hardly write it properly) Now that spring/summer is almost here, I noticed that when my A2 stays parked under a hot sun for more than 1 hour, the opensky starts opening but won't slide to the back at all. It gets stuck. If I then drive about 10 minutes, I guess it gets cooler and can slide perfectly again. Anyone noticed this odd behavior on his/her own A2? Any help appreciated, R. (A2 FSI Pack - model 6/02 - 32000 kms)

Du kannst es hier finden. But it's only a part of the 'audipassion forum'. Not a whole A2 website like this one.

That's what makes this forum very helpful, unlike its french counterpart.

(again I do apology for writing in english ...aber deutsch kann ich nicht mehr schreiben... good news is...Sie können auf deutsch antworten, ich kann noch ein bisschen verstehen :-) ) Meine Frage : Almost each time I start my recently acquired 1.6 FSI, it really sounds like a diesel engine for about 1 second and then it's just a quite little wonderful engine. Does any of you experience the same noise ? Many thanks for your help (I guess I'll get better & wiser answers on a german forum for issues regarding a little german wonder ;-) )

Zuerst, entschuldige sir mir bitte für Deutsch nicht mehr können. Diese Sprache hab ich lang im Schule studiert aber.. I guess I'll make myself much more understandable if I write my question in english (aber Deutsch kann ich einfach lesen, kein problem :-) ) As I start my engine, from time to time, the red battery indicator remains 'on' for an abnormaly long time (could be 10 or 20 seconds). It looks like if I rise RPM a bit (accelerate), it disappears and won't come again for a few days/starts. Everything otherwise works fine. Anyone allready observed this strange behavior? By the way, I do like my little german wonder ! :-)
