Hallo, ich habe Winterräder gekauft: Dunlop M&S SP*Arctic M4 185/65R15 88T (Sie haben viele kleine Metallspitzen, wie viele anderes Winterräder in Schweden.) Ist es gefährlich, sie zu benutzen? Durch etwas neue Gesetze in Schweden sind sie zugelassen. Weil der Gesamtumkreis nicht 5% grösser als die ursprüngliche Größe (165x65r15) ist. Ich denke, daß sie für ein Audi A4 sind. Jedermann mit Erfahrung mit 185/65R15 Räder auf dem A2? Sie sitzen durchaus eng, aber mehr als 2 Zentimeter vom Berühren wenn ich das Rad am Maximum drehe. Vielleicht kann ich ein Problem bekommen, wenn der Schnee baut sich um das Rad auf? Eine Prämie ist, daß der Geschwindigkeitsmesser jetzt sehr genau ist.

Slow engine start (automatic google translation auf Deutch below) Hi again! I've now been enjoying my A2 for some months. It has worked fine, and I'm really enjoying this great little car. Throught time and listening to other A2:s and other cars with a similar engine, I've understood that the engine-sound I've got is normal. In real life it does not sound as hard as in those videos I've made, se links above. But one thing still remains, the engine do grind and work for some seconds before it starts. The Verkstatt (where I recently did a service) says they think it is a sensor that is a little bad. They can't find anything in the diagnostics, but they suspect the cooling water temperature sensor. So the engine grinds for some extra seconds waiting for sensor data. If you start the engine yet another time within some hours it usually starts fine and fast, suggesting that perhaps some old sensor value is still available? What's your thoughts about this? And also, there is a little weak rattling disturbing sound at the back of the (front) SIDE windows, both left and right. It's in the area where you can adjust the height of the safety-belt. Any ideas what this could be? I've included a little picture from my vacation this summer. I've also bought a new oil-stick, since there were some cracks in the plastic in the old one, and I didn't want plastics in the engine oil! The new one, very cheap at 7 EUR, is easier to read the oil-level with. It has a smooth flat surface. The old one has grooves and I never could tell much with that. Es hat adaequat gewesen und ich genieße wirklich dieses große kleine Auto. Throught Zeit und Hören zu anderem A2: s und andere Autos mit einer ähnlichen Maschine, habe ich verstanden, daß der Maschineton, den ich habe, normal ist. Im realen Leben klingt es nicht so hart, wie in jenen videos ich, Se Verbindungen oben gebildet habe. Aber eines Sache noch da ist, die Maschine reiben und arbeiten für einige Sekunden, bevor sie beginnt. Das Verkstatt (wo ich vor kurzem einen Service tat), sagt, sie denken, daß es ein Sensor ist, der ein wenig schlechtes ist. Sie können nicht nichts in der Diagnose finden, aber sie vermuten den KühlwasserTemperaturfühler. So das Maschine Schleifen für einige Extrasekunden, die Sensor-Daten warten. Wenn du die Maschine dennoch eine andere Zeit innerhalb einiger Stunden, die beginnst sie normalerweise fein beginnt und fastest, das vorschlagend möglicherweise ist etwas alter Sensor-Wert noch vorhanden? Was ist deine Gedanken über dieses? Ich habe eine kleine Abbildung von meinen Ferien dieser Sommer eingeschlossen. MFG Bilunion

So it's 120 something on the speedometer! Why use 98 octane? It's only expensive? You are correct in the "getting used to" thing. But now I use cruise control GRA, so that will be quite "driver neutral"! [now some space for silly teasing between Nachbahren]: Since you don't seem to be a native Finländer I won't mention ice hockey here (olympics or welmeisterschaft). It should not be diffcult to modify a Kassette-spieler, for example a Chorus II, to have a "line in". You just connect your mp3-player sound signal to the point in the stereo where the kassette sound signal should enter the amplifier-part. You just have to find the correct spot. I've seen a fine manual how to do this on Saab-radios. You just need a cable to connect the mp3-player, and a soldering iron. Just cut away the original connection, solder your cable to the position and you are done. Anybody who has seen this done? I might try it on my Chorus II. It is so cheap! The radio is worth say 50 to 100 EUR, see ebay. This is cheaper than for example the Dension thing, and close to the "CARAUDIO-SYSTEMS"-worlds-worst-customer-service price of 30 EUR.

Hello all, Now I've been to the local Audi garage. Acording to them the engine is OK, and it is normal for the engine to start for such a long time. Since the car is fully insured, I'll leave it at that. I had cruise controll (GRA), new brake discs and brake pads installed. I bought new textile mats, and some small parts too. I got 10 % rebate on the total, so it came down to circa 700 EUR. I'm very satisfied with the car, and now the GRA. It takes between 6 and 7 liters per 100 km. "Sadly" it has circa 3400 RPM (high!) at Swedish Autobahn speed, 110 km/h, that pushes the consumption up. Acording to a friend of mine, auto manufacturers chooses this gearing instead of a gasoline saving RPM because othervise customers find the car "too slow" on the highest gear. Very sad! OH- ja Norwegen! Gut ist es, reiche Nachbarn zu haben. Das öl hat ihr Selbstvertrauen verbessert. Ja gibt es einige % äthanol im Benzin. Aber wenn so alle Autos das selbe sich benehmen. Aber ich nehme eine überprüfung und lasse wirklich das Auto des Benzins ab, bevor ich es fülle, also kann ich es mit nur gutem Benzin, von norwegischem Statoil oben füllen! Alle in allen ist es besser, das Geld nach Norwegen als zu „anderen“ Ländern zu geben, meiner Meinung nach. Ein GRA Wochenende könnte Spaß sein, aber 150 EUR in den Sparungen gibt mir ungefähr 750 Kilometer im Abstand nur! Ich lebe nah an Stockholm, damit 150 EUR mich kaum Malmö nehmen würde, und rückseitig! Aber Behälter für den Vorschlag! = Oh yes Norway! Well, it's good to have rich neighbours. The oil has improved their self confidence. Yes, there are some % Ethanol in the gasoline. But if so all cars should behave the same. But I'll take a check, and really drain the car of gasoline before filling it, so I can fill it up with only good gasoline, from norwegian Statoil! All in all it is better to give the money to Norway than to "other" countries, in my opinion. A GRA weekend could be fun, but 150 EUR in savings only gives me about 750 km in distance! I live close to Stockholm, so that would hardly take me to Malmö, and back! But tanks for the suggestion!

Aber er verwendete, ein Mietauto zu sein, und das Gesetz betreffend ist Unfallsfreiheit ist in Schweden unterschiedlich, das nach Deutschland verglichen wird. Der Verkäufer muß nicht diesem garantieren. = Yes, mündlich. Perhaps I should have put it in the written contract, but I didn't. The bumper looked perfect othervise. But it used to be a rental car, and the law regarding Unfallsfreiheit is different in Sweden compared to Germany. The seller doesn't have to guarantee this.

Hi, My english is withour a doubt better than my german. But i feel that you reach for a broader audience with german, on a german site. And I was desperate for some good answers, and I got some nice answers, thank you all! Writing German I use a combination of what I learned in school, what I learned by watching our old Astra satellite receiver in the 1990's (= many german channels!) and googles translation function that you find here. I feel lucky when the result is a german text that you people understand! I went to the Audi garage today, and the Meister took the car for a drive. He thought that it sounded and felt OK, in the entire powertrain. So I'll leave it there next week in the evening so they can make a cold start and listen for themselves before they install the cruise controll = GRA. That will be about 310 EUR. Is this what it costs in Germany as well? Well, Audi has improved its service in Sweden very dramatic recently. Some years ago you couln't get a time in the garage for some months, now I got one 7 days ahead. That isn't perfect, but quite good. The windscreen wiper wasn't working good at all. It just vibrated all over the windscren, a very bad noise! The meister suggested 1) change angle of wiper by force or 2) clean wiper or 3) buy a new one. I tried 1 and 2, to no help. But 3 showed itself to be the best 22 EUR improvment possible for the car. I hesitated this because the wiper still felt soft, and not hard and old. But evidently the wiper had worn on the edge, and thus it had become much more harsh (high coefficeint of friction). The new wiper glides very nice and cleans well! All the A2:s I tested before buying "mine" had a vibrating wiper. They all were about 3 years old. I guess it was about time to change wiper on all of those. Very cheap at 22 EUR. I managed to fix the plastics at the rear bumper. At least the one to the right, I can live with the other gap. I drove 200 km today, at 7,5 liter per 100 km. So I guess I drove a little to fast! :-) Still 2 liters less than my old Saab did when I drove slow! Please feel free to answer in german, I read it much better than I write it! Ich habe auch eine Film gemacht, als der Motor etwa 90 grad Celsius war. In der Wirklichkeit klang es ziemlich weich und glatt. Gebildet mit der gleichen Kamera wie Movie 1. Das Vergleichen des Tones im Film (besonders Movie 4) mit meinem Gedächtnis des Motortones, den ich, als ich filmte, der Film hörte, klingt im Ton im Film viel härter. Möglicherweise nimmt die Kamera nicht den Ton richtig auf. 2-3. Ich besuche das Werkstatt für das lange Startzeit morgen und lasse sie zum Motorton hören. 2-4 Das Auto hard beschleunigend, klingt die Motorton ein wenig rohes, hard. Aber ich habe dieses in anderem A2s gehört, also sollte dieses normal sein. Was denken Sie? 2-5 Das Auto hat 60 000 Kilometer und ist stark gefahren worden. Ich möchte, wenn Getriebe- und Zahnradänderung glatter fühlte. Hilft es, ob ich das öl im Getriebe ändere? 2-6 Soll man Zahnradänderung von Neutral in einem unbeeinträchtigten weiches bewegung durchführen können? Zum beispiel Neutral --> 1. Jetzt ist es mehr in zwei fasen, click clack. 2-7 Ist dieser Abstand normal? Sehe Foto! Was ist passiert? Ein leichtes Unfall? Wieder danke!

Hallo, ich habe ein - 1.4 Benziner - 5/2003 (prod. 12/2002) - mit 61tkm - Austattung: Winterpaket, Sitzheizung, Climatronic, Winterreifen, Blaupunkt Essen 33 CD gekauft. Ich habe einige fragen für Sie! 1. In meiner meinung klingt der motor ein wenig als ein Dieselmotor. Möglicherweise bin ich zu den modernen hohen Kompression motoren unbenutzt. Ich verwendete früher ein Saab 900 Turbo von 1991. Was sind Ihne Meinung? Die link bitte klicken, um einen kleinen Film zu sehen, in dem du zum Ton hören kannst, unten sehen. 2. Auch die motor von einem kalten Zustand (heute circa 12 Grad C aussen) anlassend muß die Startermotor für ein wenig längeres arbeiten, an was ich gewöhnt bin. Was sind Ihne Meinung? Zwei unterschiedliche Filme, einer von der Kamera, einer vom Telefon. 3. Was ist ein normaler Ölverbrauch für mein auto? 0,5 liter / 1000 km sagt das Handbuch, Aber ich möchte deine Meinung. 4. Der ehemalige Inhaber hat ACEA A3 öl benutzt, um das öl wieder zu füllen (korrektes öl wurde im Service benutzt). Wie ist Schlechtes dieses? Das Handbuch beschreibt dieses öl wie „nur in der Dringlichkeit“. Wie ist Schlechtes dieses? 5. Abbildung sehen. Was ist die Gebrauch dieser Tür? Du kannst die Ränder offenbar sehen, aber ihn nicht öffnen. 6. Es gibt einen kleinen Mund zwischen dem Stoßdämpfer und dem Auto, hinten, sollte ich dieses beheben? Ist das einfach zu tun? Nur drücken? Andernfalls bin ich sehr mit dem Auto zufrieden! Ich will bald ein GRA bei Audi Werksatt montieren. M SEHR f G bilunion!
