Would TUV be a problem? I had the impression from earlier in the thread that there could be an issue with certifying the emissions if there is a change in gearing. On the other hand, I am seeing an improvement in MPG of around 11% on my first tank (beware small sample size!) from 77mpg (3.7 l/100k) to around 86mpg (3.3 l/100km), so the emissions have presumably improved significantly. (My daily commute is dominated by highway driving @ 60 mph). Möchten TÜV ein Problem sein? Hi, I have installed a 0.709 5th gear, and a 0.588 6th gear, using EuroTuning's 02J kit. (Their normal setup is 0.75 5th, and 0.65 6th, but I wanted a very high overdrive gear).
