It's not so far, not to have a fully working OSS
I only had the car serviced 1500km ago, not at Audi though
Still, another service will probably be cheaper than the cost of repairs
-
I'm checking Easyjet for flights; not bad at all
I'd rather drive but if I end up with no other option it's certainly cheap enough to do
-
Sagt mal Jungs!?!
Folgende Rechnung:
The only problem I can see with that is that it is only valid on certain days;
Travemünde > Helsinki
Februar: 6., 7., 13., 14., 20., 21., 27., 28.
Helsinki > Travemünde
Februar: 3., 6., 10., 13., 17., 20., 24., 27.

BAD NEWS
My employers are now being awkward about the extra week off now saying if I don't take by the end of the year I'll lose it (which has always been the way but it suited them for me to carry a week over)
I'll still need the !@*% roof fixed and a week off in February won't be long enough...I am not very happy at the moment

Hmm, lots of good info there:cool:
Am I correct in thinking that if a gas shock effectively increases the spring rate I need to run a lower spring rate to get it to sit & ride the same as standard?
-
Thanks Simon, I'll have a read through that now
-
I've recently fitted Monroe Reflex dampers to my 1.4 petrol SE and the ride height has ended up at fr 36mm rr 34mm (I forgot to measure the height before I started). I measured the ride height the ride height of a standard sport to compare and that was 35mm fr & rr. I figure the front dampers have had the same effect as FSDs and raised the front so fitted Weitec front springs at the weekend but after 200km it's only come down 5mm to 35.5. Shitting elk still
Does anyone have any measurements of any suspension setups to compare? I'd like to get it sitting level again!

I'm sure it was on here somewhere but I haven't found it again yet (I'm still looking).
Darmstadt rings a bell as well and that's not a bad journey.
I won't have time for Bad Tolz

Auto Hess im Mainz?
Has anyone used them?

Sorry, I should know better from trying to read translations in English:o
Glass roofs are good but I do wonder if they now use a tilt only roof to avoid any complications?
Can anyone recommend anyone near the Nurburgring to overhaul my OSS? If not near, then the nearest or an idea of how far I'd have to travel.
It hasn't broken but it does judder and I think it may be worth having the repair kits fitted so it doesn't break. There isn't anyone in the UK that fits these or re-jigs the glass so I think it would be worth extending my holiday by a couple of days to get it done.
Gruss

Ich bin auf dem Nürburgring geht im Oktober und frage mich, ob jemand irgendwo empfehlen kann, die OSS in der Nähe Überholung. Es ist nicht gebrochen, aber es tut Ruckeln.
Apologies for the poor language, I blame Google Translate;)
Thanks

...that my first post is in English
My languages aren't great at the best of times and this isn't the best of times I have found lots of useful of information on here though (I can read more than I can write...) and I apologise in advance for any questions I may ask at a later date in Englisch
I live in south-east England near to Dover so it's easier for me to go to mainland Europe than other places in England...
I'll be back there in October in the A2 and will probably try and get a couple of extra days off so I can take it to Mainz and get the OSS overhauled:cool: I didn't get a picture of it at Le Mans Classic (it was the only A2 I saw there)

Haha, I wish
I was on an Easyjet flight at the weekend and there's an article on Finland in the in-flight magazine. It's fate I'm sure...
