Das ist die Frage. Anwesenheitsliste: Durnesss, Istvan, Monika, Phoenix, Karat, Magica, seinelektriker, A2-701, Freundin, Nuttinnew. Also 10 Teilnehmer. 2 weg von 12 ist schon eine Menge. Als Hütte haben wir im Moment eine 15er. Die Hüttenkosten, genau so wie die von der Track, kann ich nicht reduzieren. Eine Lösung habe ich noch nicht. Ich kümmere mich drum. Bret

Und jetzt ist es wieder über 0. Schlecht. Der Trackday am Wochenend von Subaruclub wird am Freitag entschieden, denke ich, aber das sieht schlecht aus. Bei -1 darf mann normaleweise nicht drauf. Tja. Übermorgen werd' ich Mikael kontaktieren und seine Meinung holen. Rückmeldung wegen Schlitten aller Art steht (leider) noch aus. Ich bin tief in vorbereitungen für ein grossen Firmenevent morgen und habe entsprechend wenig Zeit. Bret

That's not even half way up. There's another 200km to the halfway point and another 150km after that to the arctic circle. Distances aren't really relevant here, time is. It's a four-five hour trek. I don't care about driving it (it's a nice set of roads and especially in the dark it's pleasant - leave the lights on high for 10 minutes at a time and the cruise at 80km/h) but I understand that others won't feel quite the same. This might help your Geography a little: Vuosaari metro station, Helsinki, Finland to Nilsiä, Finland - Google Maps. There's a ski "resort" up there with two tracks built on the lake. Kuopio is my wife's home town and the summer house is round by Tervo, so I know the routes and roads reasonably well. Note the zoom level!. Route 2 would be my choice for the summer - as it's lovely and anything but boring - but there's a chance the roads are awful. I'm a lot happier after today; it only just crept above zero, so there's still snow on the pavements in Helsinki, which there wasn't last week. This is very good. It's also snowing again and back below zero now. Maybe it's all just a false alarm....... I bloody well hope so! Bret

Right now I am worried about the weather. Yes, it's better that it's warm now and not while you're here, but, well, it's too warm. 0,5 - and that for another two days - is enough to make a dent in the track. Yes, it snowed again yesterday, which is a nice insulation. I still don't like it. The first Subaruclub trackday was cancelled already due to serious + the previous week.
