Federn und dampfer für 1.2tdi?

Sorry again for the English. It is ok to reply in German I do understand reading German.

 

I'm interested in changing suspension on my A2 and get it a little lower and a little firmer. I would like to have recommendation from someone who have done it. What equipment have you used and how did the car change in handling and comfort?

in Deutschland ist es immer ein Problem, andere Federn und Dämpfer durch die TÜV-Prüfung zu bekommen. Da so wenige 1.2TDI gebaut wurden, gibt es keine Nachrüst-Kits im Zubehörhandel. Somit ist mir nicht bekannt, dass jemand umgerüstet hat.

Hi!

I saw a "Weitec" suspension on ebay the other day for the 1.2. I am not sure though, if that was a good choice (neither the brand nor the idea).

I was in Boras and the sourroundings three years ago with our 1.2 (first vacation with the a2)and I must say that I had rather wished for a raised suspension. The first thing I lost there was the floorspoiler on a dirtroad.

The car is already that low that a modified suspension will only cause problems on uneven terrain and in the snow. Even here in Germany where most roads are paved and snow hardly stays on the streets I sometimes set off with the bottom in steep driveways etc.
