Open Sky rattern Träger ok seilzug defekt??
Naja so ganz quick und dirty geht es nicht. Der Winkel muss erstens sehr stabil sein und zweitens auch ziemlich passgenau. Ich hatte Anfangs auch mit selbst gebogenen Winkeln experimentiert inzwischen lasse ich die professionell anfertigen, damit die Vorspannung und Maßhaltigkeit auch passt und nicht noch das labile Zink-Aludruckgussgehäuse beschädigt. Der Winkel alleine hilft auch nicht in allen Fällen, aber als erster Lösungsansatz nicht verkehrt….. -

A2 panoramic roof
Most likely the plastic connection between spiral wire and slider is broken, thats why your OSS does not close completely anymore. In order to close the roof with this problem properly you have to remove the motor (tightened with 3 screws) underneath the interior light and then manually close the roof using a long and small Screwdriver pushing one of the 2 noses as seen in the picture all the way towards the front windscreen until the first sliding glass is completely closed and the sliding lockers on each side of the roof insert into the hooks. It needs some force to close it, but no risk of damaging anything, when you attach the screwdriver correctly (right in front of the small bolt with the secure clip). The 2 broken hooks can be reworked. You habe to remove the broken plastic tip and the use a fine file to add a angle to the hook again, make it look same as before. The length will be reduced by approx. 5-6mm but that does not harm the function… To fix the broken slider you can order a wire repair kit from me. Lenkgetriebe bzw. Servolenkung tauschen
Ich hatte heute echt Glück, und das gleich 2x. Auf dem Weg nach Hause, habe ich einen kurzen Stop eingelegt und mir ein Eis gegönnt. Kurz danach blinzelte mich die "Schlingerwarnung" im Tacho an. Ein paar Meter weiter fällt mir dann auf, dass das Lenkrad arg verdreht ist, obwohl ich gerade aus fahre. Ich habe mich dann entschlossen, auf eine kleine Straße im Dorf abzubiegen und erstmal zu schauen, was los ist. Ach du Schreck, die beiden Schrauben vom Lenkgetriebe haben sich gelöst. Ein Wunder, dass weder mir, anderen als auch dem A2 was passiert ist. Leider hatte der eine Bekannte keine Zeit, aber ein anderer. Nach einer guten Stunde war er da und hat das "Notfallset" dabei, sogar einen Teppich. Nach kurzer Reparatur konnte ich dann den Weg nach Hause fortsetzen. Nun frage ich mich, wie das passieren konnte. Ich bin mir sehr sicher, dass ich beide neue Schrauben bei der Vorderachsrevision wie vorgegeben mit 50Nm + 90° angezogen habe. -

did you use the hex key to wind it closed? is it closed now? tomorrow and Tuesday look like more rain, at least up here... -

A2 panoramic roof
When I close the roof, it goes fine about 2/3 way. The last 10cm I hear the grinding noise and only the right side goes down, left side stays up and the front edge is slanted. Is that fixable or not? And those hooks. The counterparts in the glass don't even touch them at any point. -
