^^^^ I do like those wheels, I have something similar in 15" but 4x100
-
Dogbone; chassis to gearbox mount I know that's not an A2 one, just for illustration. I should have known better and replaced it earlier but I was looking for something else I like daylight but then I'm sure there are lounges for that during the daytime.
-
Dogbone mount ftw Well, it seems to have solved it so far, I really want the geo adjusted though but getting someone to do what I want isn't proving easy I asked before but I can't find the post; is it worth getting a windowed cabin from Travemunde? There are only two left so I need to book tonight. Need to book Turko>Stockholm and decide what I'm doing from then on! If it was summer I'd just make the trip up as I went along, don't fancy that so much in winter though

18"? Golf4 Anniversary BBS -
It was going to be Sunday but could it last night so did, two birds/one stone and all that I didn't pay any money and I wasn't asked for any I hope it's not as windy on the way over as it's being here atm, the A2's getting buffeted about
-
Ah, extra gloves, I'll have to get some. I've got hats, balaclava, wind jacket with fleece lining from work, wind outer trousers/jogging bottoms & thermals, some normal boots but need to get snow ones. We had +12 here today, I had to use the ac at midday because of the sun! For a spare wheel am I better off with a full size summer tire or a spacesaver?

I'd want them either fully shiny or body coloured/coded to the interior but yes, they're the ones -

How about Monroe Reflex with KAW or FK? I've got them with weitec front springs and standard but higher rated rear springs and the front seems too stiff compared to the rear. They didn't lower it either I'm thinking of trying some 9n front sport springs, I definitely would if I could find the right ones in the breakers ! I didn't want to play with this car at all, just renew the dampers...but I do like the look of the KAWs and you can get Fuchs replicas in 5x100 -
Ah! Well, the fax wouldn't go through yesterday either, without that I can't join anyway. Having said that I'll email them from work today and ask if I mail the form over, if I can't do that during today I'll just book the ferry tonight anyway, I don't want to miss it! The A2 is getting new pads, discs, rear lower spring rubbers, and new dogbone mount today (+a blue fleece for the driver's seat in lieu of getting the seat heaters fitted ). Send me a shopping list as soon as peeps have placed their orders
-
Ah, lost me For supplies? Can sort when I'm there (or afterwards), is no problem
-
I'm not sure yet, I may go up to the Atlanterhavsveien; a long way for sure but if I'm leaving on Monday I don't have to be back for work until the following Monday...I'd better make the most of it
-
I fear I may need better lights! I think I'm going to book without DFG, the fax won't through (line always seems to be busy) and there are only 3 rooms left. My bank wants a fee for the transfer as well helping to minimise any savings
-
I'm acting too slowly, I have only just emailed the DFG about payment this evening. A bank transfer from here will incure a charge of around 20 euros reducing the saving on a one-way trip even more I just tried booking my Harwich to Hook of Holland ferry as well and having entered all the details and getting a reservation confirmation I then got a message saying it was cancelled and payment failed due to a system error!

I haven't opened mine since I've been back, haven't really had the weather for it...and I'm paranoid about it breaking again I then get paranoid about lack of use being bad for it but it's only a month old Roll on summer
-
If that happens I will do my best to be there, Rinner are helpful and polite and the scenery is beautiful

I wish the front arches didn't come with the fender, I'd put some 1.2 on my petrol -
165/35 17 oder 185/35 17 machbar beim A2?

I've got some 5.5x17 R32 winter wheels...at least they're a sensible width for those tyres:o -
4.8 In my defence the options do weigh it down a bit I can't complain; last May chasing the ferry back from the Nurburgring, four-up & stuffed with luggage (had to click the rear seats forward a notch!), ambient temperatures in the high 30s so climate on it did 6.5. While I perhaps worked it a bit harder than I would have liked it didn't seem upset by it That's probably not a bad idea re gra; the switch is fitted a loom has been run to the ecu, terminals need fitting to the wires 12v wire needs fitting to fusebox or brake pedal.... Will swap for beer What price are filters & oil over there? I may be able to bring some Longlife/Platinum & filters 'sehr preiswert' (I think:o).
