Nope. Öl kommt nur bis zum O-Ring oben am Kugelbolzen, dadrunter läuft alles, auch der Pumpenkolben, nur im Diesel. Und die interne Dämpfung ist auch auf die Anwesenheit von Diesel angewiesen. Daher immer versuchen Motorabsteller durch Kraftstoffmangel zu vermeiden, insbesondere nicht lange mit Luftblasen im System herumfahren "weil es ja noch geht". -

I have to go uphill every day for like 9-10km and same downhill. This influences my over all fuel efficiency a lot. I do not drive eco or for efficiency but before changing the maf to lupo this winter i had 6.7l/100. After maf i got to around 6.2 and if warm almost to 6. I do have 165 wheels because 145 are not available anymore:( (the 145 i keep for show:D:))) The rims are the 1.4 fsi version if i remember correctly but the tires are new. The tires are a2 diameter not lupo. Lupo has 5% smaller diameter in tires than a2...for some weird reason. After brake booster change...instant drop in consumption:))...So I believe the vacuum was not right even though I cannot feel it on the way the car drives...but i can feel it on the way the engine stops... My car is from 2002 and now has ~220k km. Fingers crossed... Turbo and injectors and head-gasket are on the list for refurbishing also so from here i expect some improvement also. -

was wurde denn alles gewartet? Mal so ganz klassisch Zündkerzen, Luftfilter. Mal Benzindruck gemessen? Ist der Tank leer? Springt er nur kalt schlecht an? Stichwort G62 Drosselklappe und AGR sind auch so eine Baustelle. was sagt der Fehlerspeicher? -

5,5l ist still a lot for 3L, if you drive for max fuel effiency, but lets wait and see what it is at your next long distance drive. You drive 145 Wheels or 165? Software is original or egr off?- 1

After a loooooong time I think i finally found the issue. FINALLY some decent figures. 5.5l/100km city in the last 40km. Not long ago the brake booster finally gave out BUT apparently it was broken before. I did change the n75 valve and all the vacuum hoses and the vacuum pump. Because the pump was new i could not feel big issues. What changed after the brake booster replacement: 1) when turning off the car it shuts off better...(the flap worked before but somehow now is better). Maybe the way turbo works is different now even thou the data did not seem to show any big issues before. What i change in the quest for fixing this: 1)vacuum lines - silicon. Tested with smoke and vacuum pump and it seemed to be ok...even thou the brake booster was not 100%. 2)new vacuum pump (tandem pump) 3)solenoid N75. new pierburg 4)3 maf sensors -- i finally used the lupo version(pierburg sensor only) because it gives 0.5-0.7 better consumption but have to revisit this (not sure i will do) 5)checked for intake leaks -- replaces the turbo intake oring and the dip stick orings 6)brake booster -- theoretically unrelated but it influences vacuum enough apparently even if the pump has enough power to empty the system. The brakes were not bad only last time they told me the rear is at braking limit(drum issues related) I did have a hydraulic pump rebuild (for the gearbox). this might have some influence also but i do not believe that is almost 1 liter influence... I will come back after one full reservoir in city driving but for now it seems to have a big impact. I usually drive non eco and the figures were around 6.5l/100.- 1
