... and I'm now waiting on an answer to an answer to an answer... we are close to having an agreement, but there are still numbers and commitments missing. We answered lots of questions last week, then even more this week, and we're waiting on an answer which should have been here Friday, but is more likely to be Monday. If this particular offer goes through, there will be multiple tracks close to the accommodation. There will also be the resolution of various sore points from last year, and being off the lake brings entirely new track designs with. Yes, I have seen the PDFs and I've been driven around one of them during the summer. Bisher war im Anmeldethread die Rede von 17-19 Februar. Das wäre möglich, ein alternativ war mir aber präsentiert für ende Januar. Da der 17.2 der letzte Arbeitstag ist vor Skiwoche in Helsinki, dürfte einiges auf den Strassen los sein. Viel wird's nicht, aber vielleicht hat es auch noch ein negativen Kosteneinfluss. Quick update: 4 is gone. Well, at least for the moment, and it won't be as big as it might have been. 3 is no longer relevant. 1 and 2.... well, I am now waiting on an email with questions after the weekend. Let's see what happens. I will tell more when I have accurate information. - Bret

there's a couple of reasons for this. 1. We have to move. Which brings with it 1 a) find a track or design one 1 b) find accommodation nearby which is big and cheap enough 2. I have to re-think organisation. This is also a specific instruction from a legal body so can't just be ignored. It means many different things: 2 a) insurance must be done properly 2 b) absolute responsibility for any and all bills, personally if it's done through me in any way or a company I run 2 c) written contracts for everything 3. I was super-busy before the summer vacation and have only just got back on my feet. 4. I just got a kickoff dropped on me for the middle of January. I have a couple of ideas as to how to do at least some of this, but it's not trivial and requires energy. One thing that I figured would affect my ability to do this isn't happening right now, which is a major change. - Bret

Im forum gibt's einige berichte über mehrere Dämpfer. Sachs kommen da generell nicht vor, eher Bilstein B4 für Komfort oder B6/B8. Koni sind ab und zu noch vertreten aber die Menge geht in Richtung B4. Warum? Ich wage hier eine Aussage: weil die Monroes und Sachs diese Welt eher unterdämpft sind. Und entsprechend helfen neuen Dämpfer nicht viel. Ich würde aber unbedingt ein Austausch von allen Dämpfern raten. Klappern am VA ist aber viellecht erledigt: ein komplett revision ist aber eher sinnvoll. Besonders bei den relativ hohen KM zahlen die schnell zusammenkommen. - Bret

Es wird anderswo im Detail durchgegangen. Grundsätzlich im TDI ist etwas einfacher als im Benziner, wenn ich mich korrekt entsinne. Ich habe was vage im Kopf wegen Betriebsstunden werden im MSG geschrieben, und entsprechend kann der km Leistung passen oder auch nicht. Was ist die genaue Konstellation? - Bret
