Der Gewünschte Zimmertyp ist hier um zu verstehen was es noch gibt Gibt ja 10 Taimenvirta Doppelzimmer, 5 im Main Building und 14 oder so im Loghotel. - Bret

Sodele. Ich bekomme eine Mail in den nächsten Tagen von Aki wegen Anmeldung. Grundsätzlich wird die Anmeldung so laufen: bei Aki per Email Zimmertyp und Teilnahme bestätigen. Eine Rechnung wird zurückgeschickt für zwei Nächte in dein Ausgewählten Zimmertyp: Log, Hauptgebäude oder Taimenvirta. Diesen ist dein Nicht-erstattbaren-Anzahlung. Es gab zu viele Ausfälle letztes Jahr, das geht nicht und ist unfair Aki gegenüber (der dann Essen und Bedienung einstellt für mehr Personen als nötig). Also diesen Schritt. Preisen: Wir werden etwas drehen an Rädchen wegen Zimmer. Die drei Typen - Log, Hauptgebäude und Taimenvirta (wo ihr letztes Jahr wart!) - werden wahrscheinlich leicht unterschiedliche Preise bekommen, Erhöhungen sollten sich noch in ein angemessenen Rahmen bewegen. Essens Preis wird auch wahrscheinlich ein Tick nach oben gezogen. The idea is simple: you will send him an email confirming your room type and your attendance. A bill will be sent back to you for two nights in your selected accommodation, whehter that is Log hotel, main building or Taimenvirta. This will be your non-refundable deposit. We had too many dropouts last year and it's not fair towards Aki. He ends up buying food and getting people in and then we're only half the group we're supposed to be ... this is why it's being done this way this time. About pricing: there will be slightly different prices for each accommodation type. Taimenvirta is where you've been for the last two years, the main building is obvious, and the log hotel too. Any increases are intended to be small adjustments. The food pricing will also be adjusted a little upwards. I'll pass on more information as I have it. - Bret

es ist übrigens so seit dem geblieben. Tags um 29-31C, nachts ca. 18-20. Kein Ende in sicht! See hat bei Sommerhaus um 27C, Kallavesi - der grosse bei Kuopio - hat ca. 22C. Das ist heftig warm für hier. - Bret

I'll write this one in English so I can point other people to it: The date for #ITX, so Icetrack Edition 10 in 2019, has just been confirmed to be the 9th and 10th February 2019. Costs will stay in a similar mode to 2018; I do not currently know exactly what track setup we'll end up using, but there will be at least one track, a donut space and we'll have to see what else we can think up. To avoid a repeat of last year's last-minute cancellations, we'll run it slightly differently this year: your place on the list will be secured with payment of a non-returnable deposit of €100 to the hotel. This will be used to cover costs if you cancel and if you attend it will be taken off your final bill. I will clear up the precise modalities of this with the hotel over the next week or so (the boss is currently very busy with a major event this weekend) and I will come back with more details when I have them. And if you don't know what we'll be up to - it's two days of driving round in circles on water. - Bret

Datum für ITX (also IceTrack10), wurde Heute mit 9+10 Februar 2019 bestätigt. Kosten werden sich in ein änliches Rahmen wie 2018 bleiben. Welchen Tracksetup wir nutzen dürfen steht im Moment noch offen, es wird aber mindestens ein Track geben, ein Donut und was wir noch ausdenken können. Wegen Listenplätze habe ich was mit Aki ausgemacht: ein Listenplatz wird mit der Bezahlung ein nicht-rückerstattbares Anzahlung von €100 an ihm. Diesen wird deinen Rechnung am Hotel verrechnet. Wir haben letztes Jahr zu viele kurzfristige Absagen gehabt, das soll entstehenden Hotel-seitige Kosten abfedern. Wie das genau funktionieren soll kläre ich über den nächsten Wochen mit Aki (der ist gerade ziemlich beschäftigt mit andere Events!) und werde nochmals zurückkommen. Wer noch nicht dabei war und es wissen will: wir fahren zwei Tagen lang im Kreisel. Mehr nicht - Bret
