Any ideas on the suspension rubber heights?

Also any recommendations for the drop links - standard or shorter like BMW?

Any experience of alternative Gummilager like Superflex?

Vielen Dank!

Use B8, not B6. The drop is too large for the B6s.

The standard links are fine, that's also what I have in place. The H&R stabis have rubber mounts with, the superpro ones are pretty good but may start squeaking after a while.

Thanks Bret,

Alas the 1.4 Benziner is much lighter than the 1.4 TDI and 1.6FSI with KAW Springs so the displacement should be a lot less than those cars? There are several on the A2Freun.de forum who have used B6 sucessfully with KAW Springs. Also KAW seem to use a version of the standard Shock absorber - not short like B8 for their own range? K.A.W. Schnelltreker mentioned using shorter ARB drop links a while ago from BMW?

In any case which rear spring rubbers 4mm or 11mm?

Front strut mounts: 6Q0 parts.

Rear spring rubber: try 11mm first.

Use Bilstein B8.

Get SuperPro bushings -> best quality

these parts fit on a2: spf2901-18k (spf2901-22k for 1.2tdi and H&R 33388-2 arb kit), spf3615k, spf2481k, spf2907-70k (not recommended for TDI)

You don't need shorter ARB links for clearance. shorter links -> more understeer.

Yes, and as a former K.A.W 50/30 user with B6 I tell you that: Take B8 all around. Do yourself a favor and use B8. The car will handle way too stiff with the B6 on longer rides. B8 will provide the same performance but with less loss of comfort.

For the "obere Federlager hinten": This depends on the weight of your car: Light A2 (thin) or heavy A2 (thick)

OK I got the VA B6 changed to B8 by Bilstein in UK.

Now I just need to know about the PUR buffers. So it's ok to just use a dust cover on the VA?

Then rears are 8z0 512 1316 (140mm) or 6q0 512 131b (123mm)?

Hallo,

Happy Easter!

the car must get wheel alignment now the suspension has been replaced - what settings for front Camber/Toe/Castor are needed with KAW springs 50V/30H and Bilstein B8V/B6H?

MfG

Lukas

If no professional from the forum will provide better info I would use the Audi A2 "Sport" preset (which was set for the S-Line ride). This can be found in the computer presets of the aligning garage.
